Since 1996, Jody Healey has been employed by the firm of O’Malley, Harris, Durkin & Perry, P.C. and has been a Partner since 2002. During that time, Mr. Healey has tried over 40 cases and has been named a Pennsylvania Super Lawyer by Philadelphia Magazine over 7 consecutive years. His practice concentration is primarily medical malpractice defense along with the defense of agricultural accidents within the five counties surrounding Philadelphia.
Mr. Healey is a member of the Lackawanna County Bar Association and is admitted to practice in Rhode Island and the United States District Court for the Middle District of Pennsylvania. Attorney Healey is also an adjunct professor of law and medicine at Penn State Worthington and Marywood University in Scranton.
In addition, Mr. Healey has served as co-counsel for plaintiffs in numerous class action law suits involving pharmaceutical and medical devices resulting in excess of $20 million in recoveries.
Joseph T. Healey is a 1996 graduate of the Rhode Island School of Law. While there, he was an editor of the Law Review as well as a Law Clerk for the Supreme Court of Rhode Island.
